A leaky shower is one of those problems you can ignore for a while - until you really can't anymore. Water gets behind the walls, damage builds up, and what started as a nuisance turns into a much bigger headache. This Ann Arbor bathroom was at that point. The homeowners needed a full reset, not just a patch job.

We started from scratch with proper waterproofing before a single tile went up. That's the part most people don't see, but it's the part that actually matters. Getting the waterproofing right is what separates a shower that lasts from one that causes problems a few years down the road.

For the tile work, we went with a soft gray subway tile floor to ceiling. Clean, classic, and easy to keep looking sharp. The built-in niche features basket weave tile as an accent - a small detail that adds a lot of character without overdoing it. The shower floor carries the same basket weave pattern, tying the whole space together.

The frameless glass doors were the finishing touch. They open the space up visually and make the tile work the star of the room. Paired with the wood-look floor tile outside the shower and the white vanity with granite countertop, this bathroom went from a water-damaged problem area to one of the best-looking rooms in the house.

If you have a shower that's leaking, showing cracked grout, or just looks worn out, this is the kind of work we do every day. Solid waterproofing, detailed tile installation, and a finished product that actually holds up.
