Here's what we were working with - white laminate cabinets, beige laminate countertops, old tile flooring, and a layout that just didn't have much going for it. Functional in the bare minimum sense, but not a space anyone was excited to cook in. That's a pretty common starting point for a lot of the kitchens we walk into.
What we ended up with is a completely different story. New warm-toned shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, a stainless farmhouse sink, and a herringbone tile backsplash that ties the whole space together. The new LVP flooring runs through the entire kitchen and gives it a clean, cohesive feel that the old tile just couldn't deliver. It's the kind of update where you walk in and immediately notice the difference.
The details are what make this one stand out. The drawer inserts - a built-in spice organizer and a divided utensil drawer - are the kind of things that don't show up in a mood board but make daily life in the kitchen noticeably better. Good storage design is something we always think about during the planning phase, because a beautiful kitchen that doesn't function well is still a frustrating kitchen.
Every element here was chosen to work together - the cabinet finish, the hardware, the backsplash pattern, the pendant light over the sink. Nothing feels random. That's the goal with every kitchen remodel we take on. The space should feel intentional, not like a collection of separate decisions that happened to end up in the same room.
